這次的活動，有來自近三十家優質店舖所贊助的點心，以及全國各地烘焙師所提供的純素傑作；其中也有少部分的鹹點，很快就都銷售一空，別擔心，下一次我們會盡全力備齊更多數量。除了令人嘆為觀止的眾多點心，我們也希望與會的各位能從活動中找到更多樂趣，所以現場還準備了來自Ooh Cha Cha自然食以及Fresh Bakery新鮮烘焙坊的獨家限量商品、由Haichen和Sara設計的趣味拍照小道具、藝術家Fua的肖像速寫、Lana的泰式按摩、Lien Chi老師的瑜珈課程，並展出攝影師Michelle Lin關於福爾摩沙流浪小黑的精采作品。
This is our second year to host the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale in Taipei and we are looking at figures that exceed 200,000 NT! Thank you so much for your support for charities Bright Side Project, Mary’s Doggies, and Animals Taiwan! Just on our end of baking brownies, cookies, and banana breads, we have cut the use of over 520 eggs, 182 cups (41KG) of butter.
At the event we had treats from over two dozen wonderful eateries and bakers from around the country provided us with their vegan masterpieces. Several savory tidbits were offered but these were gone fast – worry not as we will increase the quantities in the future. Between the amazing selection, extra treats from special vendors Ooh Cha Cha and Fresh Bakery, photo props created by Haichen and Sara, artist Fua, Thai masseuse Lana, yoga teacher Lien Chi, alongside a remarkable photography exhibit of stray Formosan Black Dog strays by photographer Michelle Lin, we hope that there was something for everyone.

In the meantime please pardon any hiccups and we appreciate all your feedback and suggestions. The vegan bake sale is a small coordinated effort by just a few people with immense support from volunteers, sponsors and people like yourselves. None of us own stores or restaurants or do this professionally so we are very thankful for your patience and consideration.
If you enjoyed something delicious at our sale we ask you to support these eateries. Contact us if you need to know a store name or location and we are more than happy to share the information. If you want to donate directly to the charity organizations, please do so directly. They work all year round to provide support and care so also need your vigilance all year round. Permanent positive change can only come if we make kind efforts a part of our daily routines.
It’s a Vegan Affair is volunteer run and gives proper credit when it is due and appreciate that not one individual or organization attempts to co-opted this community effort. The focus is on foremost the raising in awareness of veganism as it relates to animal welfare, the environment; and the second our chosen charity partners. We hope that all people who chose to become involved in our projects maintains this focus and respects our ethos.
I hope we have been able to show you that a huge variety of vegan desserts are possible. I hope that you can see what a group of individuals can do when we can decide to come together as a community. I hope that you can see we can all do more and bring positive change into making this world a better place not just for you and me but all.

We appreciate our Early Bird purchasers of Ooh Cha Cha cheeseburgers and Fresh Bakery quesadillas. Big thanks to everyone that brought their own to-go containers and practiced extreme patience and love for the planet and kindness towards (us especially) and each other.
Thanks to Grandma Nitti’s, who have continuously been a strong supporter for animal welfare in the past who along with Fresh Bakery & Café also allotted us the use of their bakery and ovens on numerous days. We were very fortunate to have the use of free space of a rain covered air conditioned venue courtesy of Julia, Manav, and the team at the Red Room. Happier Cafe was kind enough to allot their space for our event as well and we look forward to future partnerships. The generosity of the aforementioned meant that our vegan baked goods could be accessible and affordable and we hope that if this was your first step into it, the experience was a positive one.
We were so lucky to have many new people on board and those who joined us again for the second year. Your trust in us and generosity means so much.
